Etobicoke Centennial Choir (ECC) is a community choir dedicated to celebrating the art and joy of choral singing. Guided by professional artists, we offer vibrant and diverse performances of repertoire, ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions and popular music.

ECC offers a challenging and supportive choral experience. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday, September to June, from 7:30pm to 9:45pm at Humber Valley United Church in Etobicoke. New singers are welcome. Some choral experience and the ability to read music are required.

Our 2025/26 season includes Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, music by women composers including Carol Barnett’s A World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass, and our tribute to the big band era, “Sing It High – Swing It Low”.

The Jubilate Singers is a mixed-voice auditioned choir of 35 voices directed by Isabel Bernaus. The repertoire includes world music in original languages, orchestral works and 20-21C choral pieces. Past collaborations include the Wychwood Clarinet Choir and the York Chamber Ensemble. Our 2025/26 season includes the Abya Yala Choral Suite by Chilean-American composer Freddy Vilches, a setting of poems in Indigenous languages from across the Americas and, secondly, a collaboration with the University of Guelph focusing on Canadian Indigenous music. We rehearse Tuesday nights and perform three concerts a year, plus two community appearances. Interested singers may sit in on a rehearsal and book an audition, if desired. Join a welcoming, social and sophisticated choir and perform beautiful music for appreciative audiences.

The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir (TMChoir) is one of Canada’s oldest and largest choral organizations. Founded in 1895 during Massey Hall’s inaugural season, it has been a leader in Canadian choral music, commissioning works by Canadian composers, presenting world and national premieres, and collaborating with renowned orchestras such as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the National Arts Centre Orchestra.

In May 2021, Jean-Sébastien Vallée became Artistic Director, only the eighth conductor in the Choir’s 130-year history. TMChoir aspires to introduce audiences to choral masterworks — both renowned and lesser-known — making them accessible and inspiring to all.

The choir includes the TMSingers, a core of professional singers, and over 130 auditioned volunteers.

The Toronto Welsh Male Voice Choir (TWMVC) was established in 1995 by first president, Gwyn Roberts. The choir continues to grow musically under the direction of William Woloschuk and principal accompanist Matthew Coons. Our blend of traditional and contemporary music, all sung off book in accordance with tradition, appeals to a broad audience.

We perform typically 10 to 12 concerts per season, in the GTA area and further afield in southern Ontario. We have undertaken major tours in Wales, the East Coast, western Canada, and Newfoundland. We remain true to our Welsh tradition; we also include songs in several other languages in our repertoire.

We are always searching for new concert opportunities, and for committed singers to join us. We practice every Wednesday; come along to a rehearsal, and see website for details.

VIVA Singers Toronto is an inclusive not-for-profit family of choirs for ages 4 through adult. We provide singers with educational opportunities to co-create and achieve artistic excellence in an accommodating, collaborative community. At VIVA, “Every Voice Matters.”

VIVA offers diverse musical programming, including regular performance opportunities, musical literacy, chorister composition and Orff-based creation activities, and partnerships with distinguished musicians and composers.

VIVA’s efforts to put choristers first inform our rehearsal structures and music-making processes. We embrace the coexistence of a high level of artistry while fostering a truly inclusive environment. We advocate for all voices and push for inclusivity to ensure that anyone who enjoys music is welcomed and challenged at VIVA.

The VOCA Chorus of Toronto, a dynamic, auditioned ensemble directed by Jenny Crober performs a wide range of repertoire (including Canadian premieres) in collaboration with superb guest artists. Our wonderful collaborative pianist is Dakota Scott-Digout. VOCA's season consists of concerts, cabaret fundraisers, outreach events and workshops with numerous renowned clinicians, including Ola Gjeilo, Ivars Taurins and Sarah Quartel.

At our May 10 "Carmina Burana" concert, VOCA will present Orff's epic masterpiece, along with selections by Andrew Balfour, Brian Tate and others, featuring special guest, Andrew Haji, tenor, with Noelle Slaney, soprano; Parker Clements, baritone; Shawn Grenke, piano; and Jamie Drake, Michelle Colton, Richard Burrows and Tim Francom, percussion. Pax Christi Chorale is a 100-voice auditioned choir that attracts a diverse base of passionate singers from across the GTA. We value partnerships and connections to enhance our knowledge, expand our reach, and strengthen relationships within and outside the choral community. Pax’s overarching aims are to create a welcoming space for the development of choral skills and to inspire audiences with thoughtful programming, from grand choral masterworks to contemporary compositions.

Under the artistic direction of Dr. Elaine Choi, Pax Christi Chorale presents five choral programs over the 2025/26 season. Details will be announced in May.

MenAloud! is a relaxed and welcoming male chorus, blending a passion for music with the joy of camaraderie. We sing music you love to hear - from popular classics to timeless pops. Everyone has input when selecting our musical favourites. Our performances are community-based, as well as in wider choral events. Whether a seasoned vocalist or a casual music enthusiast, MenAloud! invites you to join our harmonious community. Though not an auditioned choir, some musical experience is preferred. The first requirement is a love of choral music!

The Mississauga Chamber Singers performs a diverse season of extensive community engagement events, multi-generational musical education programming and ticketed concerts in a variety of performance spaces within the city.
