The VOCA Chorus of Toronto, a dynamic, auditioned ensemble directed by Jenny Crober, performs a wide range of repertoire (including Canadian premieres) in collaboration with superb guest artists. Our wonderful collaborative pianist is Dakota Scott-Digout. VOCA's season consists of concerts, cabaret fundraisers, outreach events and workshops. (Previous workshop clinicians have included Ola Gjeilo, Ivars Taurins and Sarah Quartel.)

Our May 2nd "When Music Sounds" concert at Eglinton St. George's will feature works by Ola Gjeilo, Sarah Quartel, Mark Sirett, Sherryl Sewepagaham, Katharine Petkovski and others, with guests Jason Fowler, guitar; Alex Cheung and Jean-Paul Desaulniers, violin/fiddle; Laurence Schaufele, viola, mandolin; Sybil Shanahan, cello. We rehearse on Mondays at Riverdale Presbyterian (Pape/Danforth).
