Vesnivka Choir, an award-winning women’s ensemble established in 1965 by artistic director Halyna Kvitka Kondracki, has delighted audiences with its rich repertoire of Ukrainian classical, sacred and traditional folk music. Under the direction of Kondracki and assistant conductor Nazar Lozynskyy, in early January 2027, Vesnivka, together with its partner Toronto Ukrainian Male Chamber Choir (established in 2001), will present its popular Ukrainian Christmas Concert. In spring, the choirs will present a concert of music celebrating the works of Ukrainian poetess Lesia Ukrainka. Regular rehearsals are held each Tuesday at Trident Banquet & Conference Centre, 145 Evans Ave., Toronto, 7pm (7:30pm for TUMCC) to 9pm.
