Founded in 1987, the Bach Children's Chorus (BCC) provides a first-rate choral experience for children, youth and young adults, and has instilled a love of music in generations of singers for 39 years. Led by Artistic Director Meredith Wanstall, the BCC is known for setting a high standard of music education and performance experiences for community choirs through its integrated program of choral vocal technique, ear training, music theory and sight-singing. The BCC consists of seven ensembles, with music education programs for singers in JK/SK to Grade 1, and performance-oriented programs for singers in Grade 2 to post-secondary. The BCC offers a welcoming and inclusive environment and is committed to providing broad access to robust music education and joyful music-making for families in Toronto, York and Durham.
