VIVA Singers Toronto 2023VIVA Singers Toronto is a not-for-profit family of choirs with a mandate to give members, ages four through adult, the opportunity to achieve artistic excellence in a singer-centred, collaborative choral community.

VIVA offers diverse musical programming - including regular performance and international touring opportunities, chorister composition collaborations, musical literacy, Orff-based creation activities, an annual fall Performing Arts Camp and commissioned works and partnerships with distinguished musicians and composers.

Choral singing contributes to health and happiness. Come sing with us! Harbourfront Chorus is a non-auditioned community choir that meets weekly. We perform a wide range of music that spans from early Renaissance music to contemporary popular songs. Etobicoke Centennial Choir 2023Now in its 55th season, Etobicoke Centennial Choir (ECC) is an auditioned SATB community choir that enriches both choristers and audiences with inspired performances of diverse repertoire, ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions and popular music.

ECC offers a challenging and supportive choral experience, facilitated by our music director, collaborative accompanist and professional section leads. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday, September to June, from 7:30pm to 9:45pm at Humber Valley United Church in Etobicoke. New singers are always welcome! Some choral experience and the ability to read music is required.

After a joyous and successful return to live performance, plans for another exciting season of music-making in 2023/24 are being finalized.

VOCA Chorus of Toronto 2022The VOCA Chorus of Toronto, a dynamic, auditioned ensemble under the direction of Jenny Crober, performs a wide range of repertoire (including Canadian premieres) in collaboration with superb guest artists. VOCA's season consists of concerts, cabaret fundraisers, outreach performances and workshops. Clinicians have included composer Ola Gjeilo, conductor Ivars Taurins and jazz vocalist Dylan Bell.

VOCA will feature a recently commissioned (and just published) work by JUNO-nominated composer Andrew Balfour, along with other contemporary, jazz and musical theatre selections at our "Shining Night" concert, with guests Colleen Allen, sax; Shawn Grenke, organ; and Jamie Drake, percussion. We will also be performing in Roy Thomson Hall’s Choir and Organ Concert series in April 2023. Rehearsals are on Mondays at Eastminster.

Toronto Childrens Chorus 2023Under the baton of internationally acclaimed conductor Zimfira Poloz, the Toronto Children’s Chorus is recognized worldwide as a leading choral organization for children and youth. We are committed to offering exceptional choral music education, while cultivating collaboration, leadership, self-discipline, and commitment to excellence. We have four distinct programs: KinderNotes, Training Choirs, Main Choir and Toronto Youth Choir.

Our season runs from September to June. Rehearsals are held on weekday afternoons and evenings. Choristers enjoy exceptional performance opportunities, and our Main and Youth Choir collaborate with esteemed arts organizations like the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Auditions are held in the spring and the fall.
