Serenata SingersWe are celebrating 50 years of singing! The Serenata Singers, who have sparkled in Toronto as a choral gem since 1976, celebrate their 50th Anniversary this Choral Season, May 2026. Singers, joyfully come together with voices united in song - inspiring generations to follow! This 55-voice adult SATB community choir, ranging in age from 55 - 93, gathers again under accomplished Director, Michael Morgan, to inspire and delight! Performances this year - singing with the Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra, two local seniors’ residences, culminating with an all-Canadian Program, “Maple Leaf Forever”, on May 7 and 8, 2026 - at Scarborough Bluffs United Church, 3739 Kingston Rd, Scarborough. Toronto Northern Lights Chorus, TheFounded in 1997, the Toronto Northern Lights (also known as TNL) is Ontario’s premier masculine-presenting barbershop chorus, known for dynamic and innovative performances. For decades, TNL has shared its music with audiences across Toronto, throughout Canada, and around the world, including the United States, Europe, and Asia. The chorus has proudly represented Ontario at the Barbershop Harmony Society International Chorus Competition year after year, earning a total of 15 medals.

As an inclusive and supportive community, TNL is committed to artistic excellence while welcoming new members who share a passion for choral singing, a cappella harmony, and the barbershop style. All rehearsals are open to visitors - come on by anytime to listen in or audition!

Orpheus Choir of TorontoOrpheus’ vision is to celebrate the power of choral music as an agent of social change and a passionate medium of artistic expression. The 65-voice choir, under artistic director Thomas Burton, champions the new and unusual in choral performance, commissioning and introducing new works and performing overlooked masterpieces. Orpheus supports young emerging vocal talent through its highly respected Sidgwick Scholars Program and its newer Vocal Apprentice Program for high school singers. Bach Elgar Choir, TheThe Bach Elgar Choir (BEC), founded in 1905, is one of Canada’s longest-running choral organizations and a cornerstone of Hamilton’s artistic and cultural life. Led by Artistic Director Alexander Cann, BEC presents a four-concert season featuring choral masterworks and innovative programming that engages both longtime audiences and new audiences. The choir regularly collaborates with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and leading Canadian artists.
