The Mississauga Chamber Singers bring clarity and intimacy to great choral masterpieces from a wide range of a capella works to timeless works for choir and orchestra.
Led by Artistic Director Mervin William Fick, the choir presents dynamics within a widening scope of the classical choral repertoire.
The Mississauga Chamber Singers performs a diverse season of extensive community engagement events, multi-generational musical education programming and ticketed concerts in a variety of performance spaces within the city.

The Yorkminstrels Show Choir is an SATB choir, founded in 1974 as an arm of The Yorkminstrels musical theatre company. We sing mostly Broadway music, with oldies, contemporary and seasonal songs added to the mix. With our repertoire, costumes and movement, the Show Choir has evolved into a unique group. We take entertainment into the community, doing concerts throughout the season at seniors’ residences, and for condo/church/synagogue and social groups, etc. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at Cummer Lodge in North York, from September through June. A simple audition is required; note-reading is not essential. Led by Ellen Kestenberg, we are a warm and welcoming group, so if you enjoy singing, learning harmony and performing, come join us!
