The Canadian Children's Opera Company has empowered young voices through opera, music, singing, drama, and storytelling, for over half a century. Spread across six choirs, young people in JK to grade 11 learn how to sing with healthy vocal techniques and develop their dramatic performance skills through weekly rehearsals, special partnerships, and by presenting operas annually. Members of our main chorus, the Principal Chorus, have the opportunity to audition for the Canadian Opera Company, when their productions call for young voices or a children's chorus.

The experiences offered by the CCOC make a lasting impression on singers, instilling in them the belief that their voice has meaning and power in this world and that their opportunities for their success, through music, connection, and community, are abundant.
