The Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, August 8 to 11, brings this historic port alive with music from the top of its highest hill to its working wharf. The festival features a balance of traditional and contemporary folk performers, promising newcomers and seasoned folk artists. The festival weekend begins August 8 with a traditional music conference, this year examining the music of the Franco-diaspora from Nova Scotia to Louisiana and points in between.
