Symphony In the BarnCelebrating its 26th year, SITB welcomes you to reunite for a spectacular weekend celebrating “agri-culture”: world class performances set on an idyllic biodynamic organic farm. Honouring Beethoven’s 251st birthday, SITB presents all five Piano Concerti with internationally renowned soloists (Sunny Ritter, Francine Kay, Karolina Kubalkova, Richard Herriot, co-artistic director Kati Gleiser) accompanied by string orchestra conducted by co-artistic director Kevin Mallon and SITB founder Michael Schmidt. Enjoy concerts under the stars in our open air pasture; safely spaced audience follows all health unit guidelines. Breathe the fresh air, delight in the magic of the farm, the possibly spontaneous accompaniment from a contented cow, or a visit from a passing chicken. Performances also live-streamed to our global audience.
