Every music school teaches kids how to play music — we teach them how to live it. We believe that learning music should be a joyful experience. Our approach to teaching is based on the philosophy of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki: that talent can be taught and every child can learn. Our children begin their musical odyssey as young as age three — first learning to play by ear and by heart. Primary registration is in spring and summer for the fall, but students are accepted throughout the year.
ESM is recognized as one of the oldest and finest Suzuki programs in Canada. Our teachers have extensive training in the Suzuki Method and an average of over 18 years teaching experience. We are a not-for-profit community-based comprehensive music program, nurturing children’s abilities for over 30 years.
