NEW!! International Resource Centre for Performing Artists (IRCPA). Encounter with Theodore Baerg. Sign up now till May 9. For opera & art song Singers. Theodore Baerg, one of Canada’s leading baritones, will work as a mentor with 10 singers on May 21, 10am-5pm in downtown Toronto. With Andrea Grant at the piano, he will offer each singer suggestions on artistic skills, and provide valuable career information and guidance, stressing the need for professionalism and striving for excellence. There are no fees to sign up or take part. Scholarships will be assigned honouring Canadians past or present, provided through the generosity of private donors. Sign-up forms are available at IRCPA. The 10 selected singers will be announced on May 15 for the May 21 Encounter. Concert to be on June 4 or 11 (date to be confirmed).
