Fifth Canadian Chopin Piano Competition and FestivalThe Canadian Chopin Society presents a festival and competition celebrating the legacy of Chopin and artistry of young Canadian pianists. The week-long event is an opportunity to follow the pianists who will compete for the chance to represent Canada in the prestigious “International Chopin Piano Competition” in Poland.  Plan to be a part of this excitement, and deepen your connection with Chopin! Highlights include an evening with musicologist Alan Walker, author of recently released biography of Chopin; a recital by Polish-Canadian pianist Krzysztof Jablonski in Koerner Hall; and dazzling competition performances.
