Through its “Music in the Afternoon” concert series, the Women’s Musical Club of Toronto (WMCT) presents chamber music concerts featuring musicians on the threshold of international recognition, as well as established artists and ensembles. Concerts are held Thursday afternoons at 1:30pm at Walter Hall, University of Toronto, Faculty of Music, Edward Johnson Building, 80 Queen’s Park. Pre-concert lectures are offered to all attendees at 12:15pm.

Our 126th season (2023/24) includes Fauré Quartett (October 5, 2023); Tesla Quartet (November 16, 2023); Dominic Desautels, clarinet, and Jean-Philippe Sylvestre, piano, with Zsófia Stefán, bassoon (March 7, 2024); Francine Kay, piano (April 4, 2024); Joyce El-Khoury, soprano, and Serouj Kradjian, piano (May 2, 2024).
