JazzWorks Summer Jazz Camp is open to adult community and professional musicians and talented youth. JazzWorks offers two distinct yet compatible programs. We offer a residential three-day Jazz Camp, which includes workshops, vocal intensives, combo practices, jazz theory & history, masterclasses, jam sessions, performances and more!
Unique in Canada, the Composers' Symposium / Practice Retreat has two options: participants can work on original compositions and perform them with professional musician-educators, or choose to get away from everyday commitments for three days of intensive practice time. Retreat participants are welcome to play on the original pieces that community composers bring.
