Leith Summer Festival 2022Leith Summer Festival and artistic director Robert Kortgaard present five concerts in the summer in the Historic Leith Church, 12km from Owen Sound. Leith Church is an intimate venue with excellent acoustics. The Festival begins on Saturday, June 25 with VC2, a cello duo, performing repertoire inspired by Beethoven. Sunday, July 10, Patricia O'Callaghan, soprano, with Robert Kortgaard, piano, and Andrew Downing, bass, present classical, cabaret and jazz gems. Sunday, July 24, Jonathan Crow, violin, and Phillip Chiu, piano, perform a program of French music. Saturday, August 6, Paul Novotny, bass and Robi Botos, piano focus on the music of summertime. Sunday, August 21, Agne Radzeviciute and Dmitri Levkovich, piano duo, play classical romantic and turbulent duets and solos. Tickets are $35 at www.roxytheatre.ca.

Our goal is to provide the highest possible musical experience to a pay-what-you-can downtown Toronto audience. Brookside Music Festival of the Bay 2022Brookside Music's 2022 Festival of the Bay in Midland is looking forward to a variety of musical summer evenings both indoors and out.

This year the Festival will consist of five glorious indoor concerts featuring world class performers held at both the Midland Cultural Centre and the Alliance Church, and scattered between them will be four FREE outdoor events to be enjoyed on the lawn behind the Calvary Baptist Church.

Summer Opera Lyric Theatre 2022Summer Opera Lyric Theatre (SOLT) was founded in 1986 with a mandate to promote musical and dramatic education in Canada showcasing artists in all stages of development through a variety of innovative and challenging operatic repertoires.

SOLT brings together young vocalists, students, professional singers and teachers of great stature. Its unique programs combine learning and performing in an environment reflecting the professional operatic world of today. This summer, SOLT brings three great works to the stage: Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, Humperdinck's Hansel And Gretel and Menotti's The Consul. A total of 12 performances will be at Alumnae Theatre starting from July 29 until August 7.
