We are shining a light on one of Ontario's most beautiful and historically significant cities with a summer music festival presented this summer at the lovingly restored 1919 Sanderson Centre. The vision of the festival is to present a wide and inclusive variety of musical genres featuring local, national and international artists. The inaugural festival will feature the extraordinary Indigenous playwright/composer/author/performer Tomson Highway in his cabaret Songs in the Key of Cree, followed by the Toronto Mass Choir, Canada's finest gospel choir, under the baton of Brantford's own Karen Burke, and prize-winning Simcoe concert pianist Bryn Blackwood. Come to Brantford this summer and take in the lovely parks, the Glenhyrst Art Gallery and the many pleasures of the lower Grand River Valley.
