A cross-province festival now in its 27th season, Musique Royale brings performances of early and traditional music to settings of historic and cultural significance in communities ranging from the small fishing towns to the magnificent highlands. The Church of the Holy Trinity in downtown Toronto, just behind the Eaton Centre, has always been recognized for its marvellous acoustical space. Music Mondays was started there in 1992 as an independent community music series and has become an important venue for evolving musical talent in the downtown community. Music Mondays offers a glorious spectrum of musicians from Toronto and all around the world, with a wide range of cultural traditions and musical genres. We have been privileged to receive funding in past years from sources such as the Toronto Arts Council, Toronto Community Foundation and the Bickle Foundation, as well as private sponsorships.
