Confluence ConcertsConfluence – “an act or process of merging” – Joyous, daring and thought-provoking musical experiences within a warm atmosphere of intimacy and discovery. Confluence is a company of diverse creative artists dedicated to personal, thought-provoking, and moving presentations.

Our concerts include: cabarets curated by a wide cross-section of Toronto’s leading musicians; a focus on the work of Indigenous artists and artists of colour; anniversary programs celebrating important figures in music; salons and lectures on a wide variety of musical topics; commissions of new works by Canadian creative artists and special programs of rarely-performed sacred and spiritual music. In addition, Confluence is a platform for young artists, students and pre-professionals to interact with seasoned pros.

Artistic Producer Larry Beckwith has been ably assisted in planning this new mandate by a whole host of outstanding and diverse figures from Toronto’s amazing music scene, including Artistic Associates Patricia O'Callaghan, Andrew Downing, Teiya Kasahara and Suba Sankaran.

Confluence has grown out of Beckwith’s work with Toronto Masque Theatre, 2003–2018.

Common Thread Community Chorus 2026Common Thread: Community Chorus of Toronto is a non-audition chorus which promotes a sense of community by performing joyful and empowering music. All voices are welcome! We believe that everyone can sing and that together we can make beautiful music. We sing music that celebrates the dignity of all people and their struggles to create a better world. We sing for recreation, for reverence, for learning and laughter, for struggle, for hope and for understanding. One of our goals is to encourage people to sing in their everyday lives. To that end we often invite our audience to sing along. We aim to “put a song on people’s lips, and not just in their ears!”

Collingwood Music Festival 2026In just seven years, CMF has grown into more than a festival. It has become a cultural tradition, bringing artists, audiences, students, donors, volunteers, and community partners together through the shared experience of live music, transforming the cultural landscape of South Georgian Bay.

Festival audiences have experienced unforgettable artistic milestones, from the Canadian premiere of Jeremy Dutcher with the National Academy Orchestra (2023) to multimedia productions including Scheherazade (2021) and Postcards Lost (2024). CMF has introduced audiences to rising artists such as the Rolston String Quartet and Kuné, Canada’s Global Orchestra, and presented acclaimed performers and ensembles including Boris Brott, Alain Trudel, Mayumi Seiler, Patricia Cano, Gino Quilico, the Gryphon Trio, Payadora Tango, and the Elmer Iseler Singers.

CMF has also become a home for new Canadian music by commissioning and presenting contemporary composers, ensuring each season offers audiences something they cannot experience anywhere else.

And at the heart of the Festival’s future is the CMF Youth Academy. Through mentorship, performance, and artistic discovery, the Academy nurtures the next generation of Canadian musicians.

Chorus Niagara is the Niagara Region’s premier mixed-voice symphonic choir, presenting bold, professional-calibre choral performances at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines. Bringing together outstanding singers, guest artists and orchestral collaborators, Chorus Niagara creates large-scale musical experiences that connect and inspire.

Under Artistic Director Kathleen Allan, acclaimed conductor, composer and soprano, Chorus Niagara is entering an exciting period of artistic growth and collaboration. Cantabile Chamber Singers is a Toronto-based, artist-led non-profit chamber choir dedicated to artistic excellence, equity, and innovation in choral music. Since its founding in 2006 by conductor and Artistic Director Cheryll Chung, the ensemble has become a vital contributor to Canada’s contemporary choral landscape, fostering the creation, performance, and promotion of new works—especially by emerging and underrepresented Canadian composers.

Through bold, thought-provoking programming and high-calibre performance, Cantabile actively engages diverse audiences while addressing pressing social themes such as climate justice, health care, community building, and inclusion. Our past benefit concerts and community outreach initiatives aim to amplify voices, raise awareness, and bridge gaps between the concert stage and the wider public.

Cantabile’s impact extends beyond performance. We invest in the next generation of artists through our mentorship program for student conductors and ongoing collaborations with composers, guest artists, and educators. Our past lecture-concerts and accessible educational programming support lifelong learning and deepen public understanding of choral music across genres and eras.
