Leith Summer Festival and artistic director Robert Kortgaard present five concerts in July and August in the Historic Leith Church, 12km from Owen Sound on Georgian Bay. Leith Church is a wonderfully intimate venue with excellent acoustics enjoyed by musicians and audiences alike. The festival begins on Saturday, July 1 with “And So it Goes...”: songs by baritone Brett Polegato with Robert Kortgaard, piano. Saturday July 15, Duo Concertante performs Bach, Crawley and Franck. July 29 features pianist Mauro Bertoli playing Bach, Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Grieg. The Gryphon Trio appears on August 5, while the Rolston String Quartet closes the season on August 26.
