Toronto Concert ChoirThe Toronto Concert Choir (formerly Oakham House Choir) has been based at Toronto Metropolitan University (previously Ryerson University) for over 35 years. We specialize in large-scale choral masterpieces, and are accompanied by the Toronto Sinfonietta orchestra at our two major annual concerts. This season’s Christmas concert, on December 2 at Knox Presbyterian Church, will feature Schubert's Mass in G. We particularly welcome young singers and TMU students, but membership is also open to TMU alumni, faculty and staff, as well as to singers from outside the university. The choir is led by its founding music director, Matthew Jaskiewicz. Choristers willing to learn challenging repertoire are invited to contact us by email for information about openings. We practice weekly on the TMU campus.
