The Jubilate Singers is a mixed-voice community choir of 30-35 voices under the direction of Isabel Bernaus. The choir specializes in choral world music from the Renaissance to the present, sung in original languages and reflecting the cultural diversity of Toronto. We present three concerts a year, plus community concerts at seniors’ residences and community centres. Our 2022/23 season includes “Lux/Light”; “Roots and Intersections” (a collaboration with Denise Williams); and “Dreams.”

We rehearse Tuesday nights near Yonge and Lawrence. All interested singers are encouraged to sit in on a rehearsal; experienced singers may then book an audition. Those who are not ready to audition, may join our Choral Development program for additional training and mentorship. For details, please visit our website.
