York Region's largest outdoor music festival with five stages of multicultural entertainment (music and dance), More than 100 Craft and Food vendors, Farmers' Market. Headliners include Tom Wilson, Zaki Ibrahim, Exodus: Bob Marley tribute with Lazo Finn, Georgia Harmer, Pony Girl, Rikashay, Samba Squad, Dan the Music Man, Los Moralitos, Junestone, Blackboard Blues Band, and more. Back again - Barkham will be at the north end of the street for dogs and their pet parents with vendors, Luge course and contests. The Kidz Zone at the bottom of the street will have games, performances, crafts. This is a family event for all ages. Friday from 6pm to 11pm; Saturday from 11am to 10pm.

Westben is a year-round performing arts center that brings people together through music in nature. Westben’s 26th Summer and Fall seasons feature 36 live performances and experiences with 150 local and international Canadian performers in three outdoor venues. Lighthouse, Chanticleer, Colin James, Matt Andersen, Ron James, Michael Kaeshammer, and more, plus special performances by our neighbours from Alderville and Curve Lake First Nations. Come early and wander the trails, visit the native species gardens and the birdhouses or relax by the pond. Pre-book experiences such as Forest Bathing and Sounds in Nature, Tai Chi on the meadow, Campfire Sing-alongs, or one of the culinary events. Westben is a joyful place to be!

Highlands Opera Studio was established in 2007 by internationally acclaimed Canadian tenor, Richard Margison, O.C. and Canadian stage director and violist, Valerie Kuinka. It is an advanced professional training and career development program for 10-15 top-level emerging professional operatic artists chosen from across Canada and beyond. After a rigorous annual audition process, successful participants attend the 4-week program free of charge. In addition to the professional training, 13-16 concerts, masterclasses, outreach events, and fully-staged operas are presented to the public.

For residents of Haliburton County and operating year-round, the Highlands Opera Community School provides Pay-What-You-Can Singing Lessons, opera appreciation clubs, and other opera-centred educational programs and social activities.

Music at Port Milford Art & Healing Concert Series

In the face of strife - experienced internally, interpersonally, or internationally - where do we turn? This summer’s programs will provide reflections on the human capacity to heal - through cathartic expression, love, and community.

This season’s performers, known for their positions in celebrated string quartets (Verona, Cavani, Blair, Tokai) and as principal players of major orchestras (Toronto Symphony, Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, National Ballet Orchestra, Orchestre de l’Agora), return to the Port Milford stage for another summer of collaboration and connection in Prince Edward County.
