The Beaches International Jazz Festival, now in its 35th year, is a month-long music festival held each year in the lakeside Beaches community of Toronto in July. It’s now one of Canada’s largest free jazz festivals with nearly 1,000,000 attendees, throughout its month-long span.

The Festival takes place across a number of venues; stage concerts are held in several different parks within the area and also along a two kilometre stretch of the Beach mainstreet during StreetFest - Queen Street East.

SweetWater 2023 once again will offer up internationally-acclaimed Canadian and global artists performing classical, jazz, and contemporary music on the shores of Georgian Bay. Artistic director Edwin Huizinga has assembled a talented group of musicians to celebrate our 20th anniversary festival including Mark Fewer and more! Along with four featured, four mainstage concerts, four community concerts,and other musical experiences. The 36-year-old Brott Music Festival was founded in 1987 by Boris Brott and is one of our anchor arts organizations in Hamilton, ON and is the largest orchestral music festival in Canada.

Brott Music presents classical, opera, jazz, Broadway, chamber, rock, pops, and education concerts of the highest calibre in the Golden Horseshoe. It is a fully incorporated, not for profit charitable organization with a dedicated Board of Directors, staff, and volunteer contingent.

Brott Music’s mission is to ensure that its music-making will enthrall every age, gender, and ethnicity; to impart a love of music from all our musicians to all of our audiences, to imbue those listeners with the desire and motivation to be better and more productive members of their communities and to enrich our community’s cultural tapestry.

Ashkenaz is one of the largest and most prestigious showcases of Jewish music and culture in the world. Originally founded as a showcase for Klezmer/Yiddish music and culture, the Festival has evolved over the years into an eclectic showcase of global Jewish culture, encompassing not merely the traditions of Eastern Europe, but also Sephardic, Mizrachi, and other underrepresented Jewish identities, and all manner of cross-cultural fusion. The Festival is offered 90% free to the public and attracts a multicultural audience of over 60,000 people. Nowhere else in the world does so large and diverse an audience come together to experience Jewish cultural arts. Ashkenaz usually features over 75 performances and 200+ individual artists, hailing from across Canada and around the world.
