London Pro Musica Choir (LPMC) was founded in 1970 as a chamber choir, organized and run by its members. We were the first, and remain the oldest, unaffiliated concert choir in London with a current membership of over 40 singers. LPMC has been led by some of Canada’s finest conductors, including Brian Jackson, Howard Dyck, Ken Fleet, Dr. Vicki St. Pierre, and Dr. Charlene Pauls. Our current Artistic Director/Conductor is Paul Grambo, M.Mus and our accompanist is Hayoon Kim, M.Mus, M.Ed.

Milestones in our history include winning the CBC Choral Competition, releasing nine CDs, and premiering and performing many new works by Canadian composers such as Andrew Balfour, Gerald Bales, Lydia Adams, and local composers Oliver Whitehead, Stephanie Martin and Rod Culham. In 2024, we won the FCLMA award for Best Classical Choir.

Canadian Celtic Choir, founded in 1996 by Dan Surman (BFA, B.Ed), is a London-based SATB choir of about 50 members that has built a solid reputation as one of the most in-demand choirs in SW Ontario. Our artistic director/conductor is Paul Grambo, MMus, and we are accompanied by Stephen Holowitz, BMus, BEd. Our repertoire features songs primarily from Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, and the Maritimes. Recipient of the Mayor’s Award from the City of London for our cultural contributions to the city, the CCC won Most Popular Classical Choir at the Forest City London Music Awards in 2015.

Tours are planned every 3-4 years and Newfoundland is next, June 20 to 29, 2025. Our most recent CDs, A Celtic Noel (2013) and Celtic Inspiration (2014), are out of print. More recent recordings are available on our YouTube channel.

As Canada’s only permanent children’s opera company, the Canadian Children’s Opera Company (CCOC) has ignited a passion for opera in thousands of young voices over 57 years. We offer exceptional training in singing, music, and drama for youth ages 3 to 19 across five choirs and a new Young Artist Studio, a pre-professional training program for young people ages 16 and up. The CCOC performs regularly with leading arts organizations in Toronto and beyond, with members regularly performing in the Canadian Opera Company’s productions. We commission and present world-class children's operas, and empower youth through innovative outreach programs. Annually, over 2,100 youth and families benefit from our programming, reaching diverse communities across the GTA.

Open Voices Community Choir (OVCC) is a non-auditioned, mixed-voice adult choir that was founded in 2001. The choir, under the musical direction of Andy Rush, sings fun and uplifting folk, world, sacred, and jazz music in four-part harmony. The choir is premised on the belief that community singing can be a nurturing, empowering and healing force. The 90+ singers seek to create joy, peace and beauty for choir members and the greater Kingston community, by providing an opportunity to sing and by offering our music to others.

Enlivening Toronto’s arts community for more than 50 years, the award-winning Amadeus Choir is a semi-professional choir of auditioned voices from Toronto and the surrounding areas. The Choir champions the best of choral music and premieres works of Canadian and international composers through a self-produced Toronto concert series, guest performances, and special events. Known well beyond Toronto through tours, festivals, recordings, and national and international radio broadcasts, the Choir collaborates with many professional performing arts organizations in the GTA, and helps develop the next generation of Canadian choral artists through innovative professional development programs for emerging singers and composers. Kathleen Allan has led the choir as artistic director and conductor since 2019.

Vesnivka Choir, award-winning women’s ensemble established in 1965 by founding artistic director Halyna Kvitka Kondracki, has delighted audiences with its rich repertoire of Ukrainian liturgical, classical and traditional folk music. Its regular concert season comprises three major concerts in the GTA, including its popular annual Christmas concert. Vesnivka, together with its partner Toronto Ukrainian Male Chamber Choir (TUMCC), are often joined by area musicians and professional soloists. We are pleased to introduce co-conductor Nazar Lozynskyy. New singers for both choirs are welcome throughout the year; if interested, please contact us via the website. Regular rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings at Trident Banquet & Conference Centre, 145 Evans Avenue, Toronto, 7pm to 9pm (Vesnivka); 7:30pm to 9pm (TUMCC).

Music is central to worship at Leaside United Church. The rich music program includes the Chancel Choir and the Junior Choir.

The Chancel Choir consists of a group of approximately 20 voices. This includes a professional core and volunteer singers. The choir provides musical leadership at the Sunday 10:30am weekly worship services, and rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

The Junior Choir, under the leadership of Nancy Stewart, provides musical leadership and sings anthems several times a year. We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:15pm.

Univox is a mixed-voice non-auditioned community choir for young adults. It serves the Bloordale community and the City of Toronto by offering spirited performances of choral music, both old and new. Performed works are primarily a cappella and span a wide range of the choral spectrum; Renaissance madrigals and motets, choral classics, modern composition, spirituals, and international folk songs.

The singers come from a diverse range of musical backgrounds; most have sung in choirs at different times in their lives. Univox aims to fill the niche for young adults who wish to continue to have a rewarding choral experience with others in their age group.

Healey Willan Singers is a chamber women's ensemble that rehearses and performs in the west end of Toronto. The Healey Willan Singers focuses on music by women's composers and lyrists, as well as more traditional works composed for the upper voices. This choir presents a two-concert season, with other engagements when opportunities arise. The music performed ranges from the medieval period (such as Hildegard von Bingen) to contemporary Canadian composers (such as Eleanor Daley).

Founded in 1996, the choir will begin its 29th season in September 2024. The choir presents a three-concert season, plus other engagements, when required, with various musical organizations in the GTA. In October, the choir will join the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra in their presentation of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, in celebration of the 200th anniversary of its premiere. The choir's regular season concerts are in December, March and June, with performances including a wide range of choral works set in various languages. Our final concert of this 2023/24 season will be on June 1st, with a performance of the All-Night Vigil by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
