Dudukhouse Music is Canada's home of the Armenian duduk — a 2,000-year-old woodwind recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Based in Toronto and incorporated in 2021, we produce recordings, publish duduk repertoire and pedagogy, and present live performances that carry this ancient reed voice into new contexts, from intimate concert halls to festival stages. Our publishing catalogue includes the duduk's first complete academic library in English — folk songs, medieval fables, and pedagogical methods that had existed only in oral tradition or were unavailable outside Armenia. Our roster of artists brings original recordings and live performances to audiences across Canada and internationally, while our retail arm — the world's largest Armenian duduk store — supplies instruments and educational resources to players worldwide. On stage, in print, and online, our mission stays the same: preserve a living tradition and introduce Canadian and global audiences to one of the world's most expressive instruments.
