The Canadian Chamber Orchestra (CCO) is a Toronto-based conductorless chamber orchestra founded in 2023. A core of 14 string players expands as the repertoire demands, and every program is led from within the ensemble rather than from the podium. The CCO presents its own season in residency at Eglinton St. George's United Church and performs regularly as a guest of other presenters, with 11 self-produced concerts and eight collaborative appearances to date.

Summer 2026 brings the CCO's debut album, Where the Light Breaks, on Leaf Music, recorded at the Isabel Bader Centre and including the first recording of Dinuk Wijeratne's Gajaga Vannama.

The 2026/27 season opens September 19th with Silver Linings, the album launch on Nov. 2nd, and continues the chamber music series at the AGO on Nov 13th. This season's collaborations include PAX Chorale, Music Toronto, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Elmer Iseler Singers in Spring 2027. On May 6, 2027, at Walter Hall, the Women's Musical Club of Toronto presents "Her Stories: Experiences in the City", a program curated by the CCO's female members and featuring Jocelyn Morlock, Kevin Lau, and Matt Brubeck.
