Trinity Bach Project

Read Profile

Trinity Bach Project is a professional vocal and instrumental ensemble that inspires diverse audiences with the extraordinary musical and spiritual riches of J. S. Bach’s choral repertoire. By bringing to life Bach’s underperformed cantatas with clarity, excellence, and generosity, we remove barriers around classical choral music and open the doors of sacred places—both historic architecture and human hearts.

Building on the experience of 60 performances at 20+ church settings in Toronto and the surrounding region since fall 2022, our fifth season (2026-27) will include “A Circle of Concertos” (Sept 13), an all-instrumental Bach celebration with violinist Mayumi Seiler and pianist Godwin Friesen; “Bach & Bliss” (Oct-Nov), with cantatas BWV 173 (Erhöhtes Fleisch und Blut) and 30 (Freue dich, erlöste Schar); “Bach & Heartache” (Feb-Mar), with cantatas BWV 155 (Mein Gott, wie lang, ach lange?) and 123 (Liebster Immanuel); and finally “Bach & Angels” (Apr-May), with cantatas BWV 149 (Man singet mit Freuden vom Sieg) and 130 (Herr Gott, dich loben alle wir).
