Toronto Classical Singers

Read Profile

Toronto Classical Singers uphold the highest standards in performing choral works from the past 350 years. Now in our 36th season, we continue to delight Toronto audiences with the best of this wonderful musical heritage.

Our choir is highly regarded for its professionalism and commitment to excellence in performing a repertoire that spans the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods. Under the baton of John Holland, our Artistic Director, the choir continues its long-standing partnership with the Toronto Classical Players, an accomplished orchestra that accompanies the choir's performances.

For our 2026-27 season, we are pleased to present two concerts. On December 6, 2026, we will perform Handel's Messiah - everyone's favourite Christmas music! On April 18, 2027, we present Mozart’s Te Deum, Mass in C major "Spatzenmesse", and Regina Coeli, and Zelenka's Miserere, Dixit Dominus, and Beatus Vir.

Our Western choral tradition has brought great beauty into this world for centuries. The need for that beauty has never been greater, and the Toronto Classical Singers are dedicated to ensuring that this vital, inspiring tradition endures and thrives.

We always welcome new members. If this is your kind of music, then come sing with us!
