The Jubilate Singers, founded in 1969, is an auditioned, mixed-voice choir under the direction of Isabel Bernaus. The choir specializes in world choral music, singing in the original languages - everything from Anishinaabemowin to Zulu. The choir enjoys collaborating with a variety of other groups from Toronto and beyond, such as Sikuris St. Lawrence (Latin American), the Wychwood Clarinet Choir, Freddy Vilches (Chilean), and Andrew Balfour (Canadian Indigenous).

The 2026-27 season will feature two concerts in 2027. Firstly, a concert in January with the theme of “Trees” with music in different languages, including works by Canadian composers. The second concert will be a jazz-themed concert in May. There will also be two community appearances.

The Jubilate Singers rehearse on Tuesday evenings, September through early June. Interested singers may sit in on a rehearsal and book an audition, if desired. Join a welcoming, social and sophisticated choir and perform beautiful music for appreciative audiences.
