London Symphonia is one of the finest regional, professional orchestras in Canada and a leader in London’s vibrant music and arts community. London Symphonia proudly carries on an orchestral tradition that began in 1937 as the only professional ensemble offering a full season of orchestral music in the London region. A successful, flourishing organisation, London Symphonia is committed to artistic excellence and experience through in-person and livestreamed concerts, and deepening music education by mentorship and training for emerging artists, community outreach to deliver the healing power of music and engage new audiences, and fostering creative partnerships.

With a core of 30 players, our concerts feature talented London Symphonia musicians, spotlight international and Canadian guest artists and guest conductors, première commissioned and other new works by Canadian composers, and showcase local musical groups such as the H.B. Beal Secondary School Singers and The London Singers through creative collaborations.

Our deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility enables us to offer free in-person concert tickets to Newcomers and secondary and post-secondary students, and children aged 6 to12.
