SoundCrowd, Toronto’s first large-scale contemporary a cappella ensemble, is the brainchild of Artistic Director, Scott Pietrangelo. The group made its concert debut in 2016 alongside former Barenaked Ladies front-man Steven Page at the Danforth Music Hall. Since then, it has been featured on a national TV show (The Social), created viral music videos, performed with other notable Toronto-based groups (Cadence, Countermeasure, Retrocity), sang backup for Jonathan Antoine (Britain's Got Talent), opened for Disney's a cappella sensation DCappella, and performed at Carnegie Hall with choirs from around the world under the direction of Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect, The Sing Off). After surviving the lockdowns of the pandemic, SoundCrowd is back working on two new shows and releasing its long-awaited debut album, All Voice No Limits, in 2023. SoundCrowd's vision is to:

• Enrich the Toronto community with the proven health and social benefits of participating in and experiencing choral music
• Make connections through voice and movement using repertoire that is exciting, fun and meaningful to all
• Create dynamic and original performances of music from all genres using the musical language of a cappella
