Amici Chamber Ensemble celebrates 33 years as one of Canada’s finest and most distinguished chamber music ensembles. Artistic Directors, clarinettist Joaquin Valdepeñas, cellist David Hetherington, and pianist Serouj Kradjian, invite some of the finest musicians to join them in innovative and eclectic programming, celebrating friendship through music. Alongside numerous broadcasts of their concerts on national radio, Amici Chamber Ensemble’s recordings have placed them firmly among the world’s best chamber musicians and garnered the ensemble two JUNO awards.

Amici's 2022/23 concert season is at Trinity St. Paul's Centre:

• October 16 - “La Flute Enchantee”: The best music for flute and chamber ensemble! A French program featuring flute sensation Marina Piccinini.
• November 13 - “Brahms Trio”: Chamber music at its best, featuring Amici’s original trio: clarinet, cello and piano.
• March 5 - “Musica Da Camera”: Featuring Spanish and Latin music/composers and the added feature of celebrating a commission by renowned Mexican composer Arturo Márquez.
• April 16 - “From Strauss to the Orient”: A mesmerising musical journey from Strauss’ songs to Ravel’s Shéhérazade and Lebanese songs featuring soprano Joyce El-Khoury.
