The City of Lakes Music Society is pleased to announce its 2026 Strings Retreat for adult violin, viola and cello players. It will be held at Thorneloe University, Sudbury, from August 12 to 16, 2026. It is designed to be educational and fun and features a high-quality faculty, including three members of the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra String Quartet: Beth Schneider-Gould and Melissa Schaak, violins; Dobrochna Zubek, cello; and guest teacher, violist Caitlin Boyle. Participate in a string orchestra, chamber music and master classes and take part in workshops that help you grow as musicians. It is an opportunity to immerse yourself in music and camaraderie.
