After two international runs, Opera Atelier is bringing Mozart’s Lucio Silla home to Toronto. Opera Atelier has already received critical acclaim for this opera about the ancient Roman dictator, when they performed it at the Salzburg Festival (2013) and at Milan’s world-famous La Scala (2015). The Toronto production is what Opera Atelier does best—elegant early opera—and runs at the Elgin Theatre from April 7 to 16.
