This year marks 30 years of bringing world-class music to the Waterloo Region by Sun Life UpTown Waterloo Jazz Festival. Special program highlights include Canadian guitar virtuoso and JUNO winner Jesse Cook, the Latin-infused music of GRAMMY and JUNO winning Alex Cuba and a swinging group from Cleveland, the 3DJazz Trio. Along with these fantastic performers, we will feature Indigenous actor and jazz singer Cheri Maracle, So Long Seven (a group that blends folk and jazz with influences from India), local soul and R&B group Freshwater Funk, Toronto singer-songwriter Barbra Lica, the music of guitarist Eric Divito direct from NYC and many others.
