Our final performance of the season will celebrate the music written for the screen with a program of famous movie tunes and melodies. Well-known themes from award- winning movies such as "Princess Bride" by Mark Knopfler, "Schindler's List" by John Williams, "Lord of the Rings" by Howard Shore, Ennio Morricone's westerns soundtracks and the unforgettable themes from Nino Rota's "Godfather" will be part of the program. Various instrumental solos will feature several orchestra members performing as soloists.
