July 22 to August 4
In a summer where Ottawa will be humming with activity, Ottawa Chamberfest presents a true showcase: curating what chamber music is, was, and is becoming, for the long-time fan and newcomer alike. Featuring Stephen Hough (July 23), the Miró Quartet (July 25), violin virtuoso Julian Rachlin performing Vivaldi and Piazzolla’s Four Seasons (August 1), and a unique full-album performance of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (August 4). Experience a two-week celebration of 500 years of music: July 22 to August 4, 2017. Founded in 1994, the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival brings together the boldest names in ensemble and solo performance in the nation’s capital. The world’s largest festival of its kind, Ottawa Chamberfest is a 2017 Festivals and Events Ontario “Top 100” Festival.
