Piano Lunaire honours those who have been lost to the COVID-19 pandemic, and those who continue to suffer with illness. Join us at the Art Gallery of Hamilton's Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Pavilion and Irving Zucker Sculpture Garden on Sunday, October 2, at 3:00pm.
The programme is highlighted by the work of rising star composer (and Hamilton native), Liam Ritz. His Nine Forgotten Variations for solo piano were commissioned by PL and the Brantford Music Club in 2021; we are thrilled to finally premiere this exquisite new work for keyboard. Also on the programme: piano music from the traditional canon alongside Adam Sherkin's Aubades in Memoriam, featuring music dedicated to long-tome patrons and supporters of PL who passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic.
