Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony 2007-2008 MEMBER PROFILES   Nationally praised for its world-class performances, the KW Symphony is a cultural centerpiece of the Waterloo Region and serves as an entertainment resource for Southern Ontario. Currently in its 62nd season, the orchestra welcomes its new music director, Edwin Outwater, formerly Resident Conductor of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. The KWS is comprised of 52 professional musicians sharing the stage with internationally-renowned guest artists.    The KW Symphony resides in one of Canada’s finest acoustic performance spaces—Kitchener’s The Centre In The Square.    As part of its commitment to education and outreach, the KWS supports the extensive activities of the KWS Youth Orchestra Program and performs a number of community concerts in soup kitchens, seniors’ homes and schools throughout the year.
