Ensemble TrypTych Chamber Choir

2007-2008 MEMBER PROFILES

Ensemble TrypTych Chamber Choir, a mixed choir of 30 singers under the direction of Lenard Whiting, is now entering its 7th season. ETCC performs four main concerts each year with music from the renaissance to new works of the 20th century.

The choir is open to all: auditions by appointment in September.
Weekly rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:45pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church from September to May.

This season’s program starts out with a collaboration with TrypTych Opera (see separate profile) for “Much Ado About Opera” in September, then two performances of Cavalleria Rusticana with Opera by Request in October, followed by a performance of part one of Handel’s Messiah in December and one of Finzi’s Intimations of Immortality in April, as well as the usual light-hearted concert in May: “The Lounge Lizard’s Laudation” - a tribute to those glorious crooners of yesteryear.
