| County Town Singers 2007-2008 MEMBER PROFILES County Town Singers is a community choir based in Whitby but drawing talented singers of all ages from the Durham Region. Under the direction of Barbara Ouellette with Natalia Kolacz, accompanist, we practice Wednesdays from 7:30-10pm at the Seniors’ Centre on Brock St., Whitby. Auditions are held twice a year, the first two Wednesdays after Labour Day, and after New Year’s Day. We are now busily preparing our 40th Anniversary Christmas concerts being held at Forest Brook Church in Pickering Village, December 13 and 14 at 8pm. Make this a wonderful way to kick-start your holiday season. Also watch for our 2008 Spring Shows in early May. With each new season we strive for musical excellence while presenting audiences with a wide variety of challenging choral music. We “Sing for the Love of It”. The County Town Singers gratefully acknowledge the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Ministry of Citizenship and Recreation.
