Founded in 1985 by General Director Guillermo Silva-Marin, Toronto Operetta Theatre is a vibrant company with a mandate to produce classical operettas featuring professional Canadian artists of exceptional talent. 

This season features singers Gregory Cross, Gregory Dahl, Elizabeth DeGrazia, Gisele Fredette, Tamara Hummel, Fred Love, Deborah Overes, Marcel van Neer and a host of others.  Lehar’s “The Land of Smiles” runs from December 27, 2002 to January 4, 2003; with Gilbert & Sullivan’s “The Mikado” scheduled for May 2 through to May 11.  Concerts “The Best of Broadway Part II,” (November 3, 2002) and the Canadian Premiere of Gonzalo Roig’s Cuban Operetta “Cecilia Valdez” (February 15 & 16, 2003) complete the season. 

Also, TOT’s annual pre and post performance New Year's Eve Gala Party, features a catered buffet dinner and dancing to a live band. Call the Jane Mallett Theatre for tickets.
