Pax Christi Chorale is a Mennonite and Brethren in Christ choir that has maintained a tradition of fine choral singing for the past fourteen years. In recent years we have performed some of the great masterpieces of the choral literature. Many of our choristers are local Mennonites, but the choir boasts members from many different faith traditions and cultures, all of whom gather for weekly rehearsals because of their common love of singing. In the fall of 1999, the choir released its first CD recording, called Rejoice!

Concerts: Ancient Noëls - Saturday, December 8, 2001, 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 9, 2001, 3 p.m.- Carols, customs and legends from Christmas past, featuring music by Victoria on the mystery of Christ’s birth; Masterpieces of Viennese Classicism - Saturday, April 27, 2002, 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 28, 2002, 3 p.m. - from the joyful exultation of Haydn’s great Te Deum to the impassioned agony of Mozart’s Requiem, this performance leads a pilgrimage through life’s great joy - and sorrow.

All concerts are at Grace Church on-the-Hill, Toronto. Please call for more information.
