Hailed as one of the world’s finest professional chamber choirs, the Elora Festival Singers was founded by Noel Edison in 1980 as the principal vocal ensemble for the Elora Festival. Since then, the choir’s activities have expanded to include the popular Winter Series concerts in Elora, touring and recording. The choir also makes up the professional core of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. The popularity of EFS in Toronto has led to the launch of a new series at Trinity College Chapel in 2002.
