We believe that the arts are a right, not a privilege, and provide quality affordable music and arts programs to people of all ages. Individual lessons are available on most band and orchestral instruments, guitar, piano, voice, accordion and theory. Group classes vary each term. They currently include music, art, and creative movement for preschoolers, a community choir, chamber music, and dance (tap, ballet and jazz).  Our faculty consists of professionals with both performance and teaching skills.

Our fees are modest, and subsidies are available for low-income families. We have a scholarship program, practice facilities, and instrument rentals. Student recitals are a regular feature at the School, offering excellent performance opportunities to our students in a non-threatening environment. We also present faculty concerts, special events, and publish a newsletter, In Tune, three times a year.

This year the School turns 80! We welcome alumni/supporters to join us on Nov 23rd for “Music and Memories.”

For specific information and to register, call the office. General hours are 3:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, and Saturday 10:30a.m.- 2:30 p.m
