The Elora Festival Singers is a professional chamber choir originally formed in 1980 by conductor Noel Edison as the principal vocal ensemble for the Elora Festival. In the spring of 1990, the Singers expanded their activities beyond the Festival season with a tour of Baltimore, Buffalo, New York City, and Washington. During the past two seasons the choir has performed in centres throughout southern Ontario.

In addition to Elora Festival commitments and their own highly acclaimed Winter Series, the Singers are regularly featured on the CBC. In November 1997, the Elora Festival Singers released a new Christmas CD - The Mystery of Christmas - on the international NAXOS label. This CD, which sold more than 30,000 copies in the eight weeks following its release, was nominated for a Juno Award. In 1997, the Elora Festival Singers were appointed as the professional core for the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.
