Church of the Messiah Choir
COTM choir is a
mixed-voice Anglican choir which performs in a wide variety of musical genres,
including classical, jazz, African, Chinese, Caribbean, Celtic, gospel, and
pop/rock. We perform all music authentically for the genre and are often
accompanied by traditional instruments such as African drum circles, Chinese erhu and guzheng, Irish harp,
flute and bodhran. We perform weekly at the Sunday
services and for special concerts, such as our annual Christmas concert. Our
church congregation is diverse, open-minded, and passionate about our music. We
enthusiastically welcome new members to join our choir. The church is located
at Avenue Road and Dupont (north of Bloor).
